Edenred Japan has teamed up with two major partners – NTT Docomo (Japan’s leading telecom operator) and Fujitsu (a payment processor) – to release the first contactless meal voucher card on the market.
The shift to a digital solution is opening up new growth prospects for the Japanese subsidiary among large companies (over 2000 employees) that do not support the paper solution.
The shift to digital, and more broadly the creation of new services associated with meal vouchers thanks to digital technologies, has been a priority for the Group since it became independent in 2010.
