There were five categories presented: promoting healthy nutrition, sourcing from local suppliers, exemplary environmental practices, quality of client information and actions implemented as a responsible employer.
This challenge ran from September 12 to October 21, 2016. Two restaurants won the endowment in the amount of €5,000 to serve as material support in developing their projects, one voted in by the public and the other rewarded by the Edenred Jury.

Italian restaurant the Ancora, which serves about 400 meals each day, competed in the environmental practices and client information categories, and received the jury award.
The three objectives submitted by this restaurant were to:
- improve waste management: food, energy, water;
- improve the quality of information provided to consumers regarding the dishes served: food allergens, nutritional value, amount of calories, type of diet (vegan, vegetarian, halal, etc.);
- create an application consumers could use to choose their menu based on their eating habits and place a pre-order.
The second winner, who was picked by the public, is a Brazilian restaurant: Tempo Caipira, particularly committed to reducing their environmental impact and offering balanced meals prepared with seasonal produce.
In addition to the endowment granted by Edendred, the Group will help the restaurants implement their projects by serving as a mentor for specific expertise, and through communication actions.
