On January 17, 2018 in Paris, this year’s CIO of the Year rankings were revealed. The prize-giving ceremony, hosted by the French Secretary of State for Digital Technology, Mounir Mahjoubi, was organized by IT for Business.
This prize rewards CIOs who successfully manage the digital transformation of a department, an entity or a group.
According to Konstantinos Voyiatzis, organization and the means of interaction are two of the keys to success: “We encourage any initiative that strengthens international cooperation, innovation and the multicultural nature of our teams. The IT team brings an innovative approach and creativity to the Group. International issues at Edenred are addressed in part with collaborative tools. The international profile of our IT teams favors personal development and contributes to the wealth of the Group. We have seized the opportunity to become an international Group in order to speed up the digital transformation and innovation.”
