The Edenstep program gives participants the opportunity to hold positions of responsibility in a stimulating, international environment as part of France's Volunteering for International Experience (V.I.E) program. The selected applicants will form a class of 15 graduates who share a desire to gain solid, international work experience and contribute to the development of a company undergoing major change.
Selected graduates will participate in facing challenges Edenred has set for itself, which are to develop an entirely digital and increasingly mobile employee benefits offering to seize the opportunities created by digital technology, become the world leader in expense management and reinvent the corporate payments market.
"We are very proud to be introducing this program, which will help Edenred attract talented young people and give them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said Jeanne Renard, Edenred's Executive Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility. "It's a real challenge we're setting them. They'll be integrating our teams at a time when all of our employees are involved in the Group's transformation, as part of our new Fast Forward strategic plan. Our objective is to nurture talents for Edenred's future by enabling these young people to learn about the various aspects of our company over a two-year period. In return, we ask them to be creative, be proactive and think out of the box."
Edenstep, a career booster for young graduates
Alongside Group employees, participants will benefit throughout the program from individual support (training and mentoring) to help them make the most of an invaluable experience that will enhance their employability.
Starting on September 4, 2017, the 15 participants will spend a week at Edenred’s head office in Paris, where they will meet the Group's senior executives. This will be completed by two weeks in the field in Munich, Milan and Paris. The participants will be housed together in an apartment during this induction period, at the end of which they will be able to share their initial impressions over dinner with a member of Edenred's Executive Committee.
Between late September 2017 and September 2019, each participant in the Edenstep program will then carry out two one-year placements in a given country in one of Edenred's areas of expertise – finance, marketing, strategy and business development, or digital technology.
Edenstep, an opportunity for international experience
The Edenstep program will enable young graduates to work in one of the four main regions where the Group is present:
- Latin America: Brazil (São Paulo), Mexico (Mexico City)
- North America: United States (Boston)
- Asia: China (Shanghai), Singapore (Singapore)
- Europe: Czech Republic (Prague), Germany (Munich), Italy (Milan), Romania (Bucharest), Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), United Kingdom (London)
How to apply?
Graduates interested in participating in the Edenstep program should send their CV and a presentation in English on a PowerPoint slide to graduate.program@edenred.com before April 14, 2017. Short-listed applicants will then be invited to participate in a one-day recruitment session in Paris (two interviews, followed by a group case study, in English).
The applicants must have graduated in 2015, 2016 or 2017 and be eligible for the V.I.E. work placement program. They must also speak fluent English and have some previous work experience, whether an internship, a temporary contract or a permanent position, ideally in an area that relates to the Group's businesses.
