Edenred's Executive Committee wins the 2016 Trophée des CoDir Award

During the fifth Trophées des CoDir award ceremony, dedicated to digital technology and strategic innovation, Edenred received this honor in front of an audience of managers.

Récompense

Created by the Cercle de l'Excellence RH (HR Circle of Excellence), this award showcases the role played by Executive Committees in the performance and transformation of companies.

The 2016 edition honored five companies under the chairmanship of Sébastien Bazin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Accorhotels, 2015 winner; and Edgard Added, Founding President of the Cercle de l'Excellence RH and Chairman of the RH&M Group: Club Méditerranée, Edenred, Faurecia, Fnac-Darty and rueducommerce.com.

In particular, the Trophées des CoDir singled out three Executive Committees for their originality, innovation and operating modes.
The aims were to:

  • recognize the Management Committee models of companies in various sectors likely to be sources of inspiration;
  • raise awareness of the fact that Management Committees can and should change to deal with extreme situations and transformations;
  • first and foremost, honor a team (the entire Management Committee). While a CEO should have a vision, a Management Committee should provide unity;
  • consideration, by the Management Committee and Board of Directors, of human capital as an essential driver of corporate competitiveness.

Edenred, described as a "builder of virtuous ecosystems"

The Group's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bertrand Dumazy received this award together with several members of the Executive Committee. He then shared some of the key success factors in Edenred's transformation: "Forty-two million people use our solutions in 42 countries, for a total of €20 billion in transactions per year between employers, employees and merchants. These unique interactions help create mutual value, thanks to digital technology in particular. Fifteen percent of our employees are IT engineers and this figure is going to increase over the next five years. Edenred's strength is its ability to adapt to all international markets. We generate unique interactions resulting in the creation of mutual value, making us builders of virtuous networks. To achieve this, we need curious people who enjoy working in teams that are formed to meet the needs of each project."
He went on to affirm that "We are honored to receive this award, which recognizes the work of a whole management team headed in the same direction to make our Fast Forward strategic plan a success."
