The Annual General Meeting Award ceremony aims to showcase the best practices of companies and investors working for a more responsible capitalism that reconciles global, sustainable performance and positive external factors. Edenred was one of the 2019 prizewinners, alongside Air Liquide, Legrand, Capgemini and BNP Paribas.
“As well as fulfilling our regulatory obligations, the 2019 AGM was an opportunity to give a detailed explanation of Edenred’s involvement in civil society and to share our vision. As a Group that supports the world of work day after day, Edenred voiced its opinions on worldwide trends in the workplace and its new challenges. We are keen to explain how we adapt our solutions, ambitions, strategy and expertise to this fast-changing environment. The 2019 AGM was also an opportunity for the Group to outline its policy on corporate, social and environmental responsibility – People, Planet, Progress – which was renewed in mid-2018. Finally, it is the ideal forum to showcase and praise the work done by all our talented employees in the Group’s 46 countries,” declared Bertrand Dumazy, Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
The best practices applauded by the jury included the presentation of a risk map, the ethical and internal control system, training in the breaking down of the value created for the stakeholders and a recap of the calculation rules, the testimonial of a “Young Talent” about the various opportunities in the Group and a presentation of clear and quantified CSR targets for 2022 and 2030.
