Edenred Mexico receives two awards for quality of life at work

This year, Edenred Mexico has received two awards for being a great place to work, in recognition of the Group’s global efforts to promote well-being in the workplace.

Edenred Mexico receives another award from Great Place to Work

The GPTW institute analyzes employee working conditions based on three key factors: trust, pride in work undertaken and enjoyment. Thanks to the numerous actions taken by HR, Edenred Mexico has risen six spots in the GPTW rankings.

The survey revealed an increase in the employees’ positive perception of the various dimensions under assessment, and in particular the credibility and respect granted to employees. This can be explained by support for the change in corporate culture, related to the Group’s shift to digital.
Edenred Mexico has introduced new ways of working, which are increasingly based on a project mode approach. The internal "Get #REDI" (Rapid, Effective, Decisive and Innovative) communications campaign was launched to support this change.

In addition to this campaign, employees in a variety of positions and with varying levels of responsibility receivedtraining in project management. These employees were then invited to work together on the question of performance, in addition to their everyday assignments. These initiatives involved employees from all levels of the company.

Initiatives also honored by "Súper Empresas"

Súper Empresas is a local rankings that rewards "companies where it is a pleasure to work". They are compiled by Expansión magazine, a partner of CNN. For the second year in succession, the Mexican subsidiary figures in the rankings, rising three spots in comparison with 2015.

Just like in Great Place To Work, companies are ranked on the basis of a survey of all the employees and an analysis of HR practices. But, unlike GPTW, this survey concentrates on the company’s organizational culture.

The Edenred group’s approach to certification

Certification by external service providers is one of the top priorities of the Group’s HR policy. Certification is a good means of taking stock and drawing up action plans in order to create working conditions where the employees feel good. At the end of 2015, 87% of employees were working in subsidiaries that were already engaged in a certification process.
