Edenred, a Group which takes care of its employees’ well-being

The first quarter 2011 ended in style with the awarding of new well-being at work certifications for Edenred subsidiaries in Europe and in Latin America.

Today, nearly 50 % of all 6 000 Edenred employees already work in a «best work place», a testament to the Group’s commitment to quality of life in the workplace. The list of certified Edenred subsidiaries grows ever longer: Chile and Greece, respectively « best workplace » (GPTW) and « Investor in People » have joined the ranks of certificate winners Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, United Kingdom.

Also, Edenred Latin America has just been recognised best employer in the region for all its subsidiaries.

A round-up of our 2011 new certification awards…

Following a survey of its 248 employees, Edenred UK has just renewed its « One to watch » label for Best Companies 2011. This certification recognises the ongoing efforts conducted by the management team to develop internal processes and projects that foster employee development such as training, rewards and recognition systems, environmental, charity events.
For 2012, the subsidiary’s objective is to continue to improve the working conditions of its employees and institute action plans based on feedback. Edenred Venezuela has just come 5th in the annual ranking of companies by the Great Place to Work Institute.

Already a winner of the award in 2006, 2007 and 2009, this year Edenred Venezuela is up among the leading companies who take the most care when it comes to their employees’ working conditions. This performance confirms just how much attention the country, with the 2nd largest workforce in the Hispanic Latin American zone, pays to the quality of its employees’ working conditions, trust and recognition.
This distinction is the fruit of all the work accomplished over several years by Cestaticket management, designed to foster skills development and optimise work/life balance.

Edenred Greece awarded the 2011 Investor in People label for the very first time.
Winning certification has been the culmination of the great team work accomplished by the workforce of 29 people in Edenred Greece and their General Manager to enhance individual and collective performance. It demonstrates their commitment to implementing managerial best practices designed to foster development of the skills of all employees plus top performance for the company.
