Edenred Czech Republic launches Ticket Junior® on the Employee benefits market

Ticket Junior® is a unique benefit in the Czech Republic that can be used to cut employees' childcare fees and to return to work sooner.

In September 2014, Edenred Czech Republic launched Ticket Junior® to meet  the growing need for childcare solutions, in a country where parental leave lasts 2.5 years on average.

Indeed the shortage of places in public day centers and the high cost of private establishments mean that parents, and mothers in particular, often delay their return to work.
This can hinder their professional career and also penalize the companies that fund the national health insurance scheme.

Ticket Junior®, a digital and turnkey solution

236,000 pre-school aged children 5 million active workers Average length of parental leave: 2 to 3 years Monthly cost of a private childcare center: about 450€ Average wage: about 860€

Ticket Junior®, which falls within the Czech law on tax credits, allows employers to pay a part of their employees' child care fees. This benefit is not taxed.

The web portal Ticket Junior® solution allows the employees of corporate clients to send the pre-school fee to the affiliated entities offering pre-school age childcare services.
