Edenred Brazil continues to grow in the healthcare sector

After Ticket Fit, Edenred Brazil is continuing to venture onto the healthcare market with Ticket Saúde, a solution that supplements the subsidiary’s traditional employee benefits offer.

Edenred Brazil has been helping employees to adopt a healthier lifestyle since 2017 with the Ticket Fit application, which provides advice on eating habits and exercise sessions.

The subsidiary has now launched Ticket Saúde, a virtual card that is credited once a month by employers, as a continuation of Ticket Fit. It can be used to buy medicines in approved chemists at a 20% discount, or to access a medical network providing services that are 80% cheaper than the usual market rates.

Health is one of businesses’ major concerns, due to the high cost of health insurance. Inflation in the cost of health insurance has gathered pace in recent years, reaching up to 12% of total payroll, according to a survey conducted by the Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH). We launched this solution to enable companies to propose quality healthcare to their employees, while saving money at the same time,” explains Felipe Gomes, the Managing Director of Ticket, Edenred Brazil’s Employee benefits subsidiary.

Ticket Saúde will initially be launched in São Paulo, and then extended to other cities in the coming months.
