Having developed similar solutions in France, Italy, Mexico and Poland, Edenred continues to expand its range of Expense management solutions (vehicle fleets, fuel cards, etc.) with a new 'travel' offer.

Revolving around a web platform, a user portal and a MasterCard© payment card, this solution allows companies to credit, customize and monitor funding for the business trips (amount, location, hotel rating, etc.) of their employees. Furthermore, employees benefit from an easy way to manage their expenses and claims.

High expectations in Germany

Until now, business expenses have been a heavy administrative burden for companies (travel advances, expense claims, and reimbursement) and entailed complicated procedures for employees: receipts to be filled out, long waits for reimbursements, etc. Spendeo by Edenred meets this need for simplification and time savings for both employers and employees.

Moreover, the card can be used beyond the German borders, for all types of business travel expenses. It is accepted throughout the MasterCard© network (almost 33 million merchants), online, and in ATM machines if the employer enables this function.
